About Me
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of sharing a little about myself, and have had opportunities to learn about Halstead Academy's students and families! I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Liberal Studies from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland; now Notre Dame of Maryland University. In 2004, I began my career in education at Halstead Academy as a classroom teacher.
While teaching at Halstead Academy, I began working on my Master's degree in School Counseling at Johns Hopkins University. In 2014 I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with my Master's, and transitioned out of the classroom, becoming Halstead Academy's school counselor. I have NCC status, which means I am a National Certified Counselor. Presently I am pursuing my post-Masters certificate in Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University. I am very honored to continue serving our amazing Halstead students and community. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
